Sorry, but no one here can say with any certainty whether Apple will or will not cover the issue under warranty, particularly since we cannot see the problem. It will all hinge on whether or not the Apple technician decides that the problem is a factory defect or instead comes to the conclusion that the problem was caused by some sort of impact.

I wish I could give you an answer, but you will have to take the iPhone to the Apple Store so they can look at it.

Sounds like a defect to me which in my experience they will give you no grief over and simply replace it. I had a phone replaced for having a tiny spec of metal underneath the screen near a corner.

I have the same issue.I notice few days ago that my iphone is bent on the left site near the volume button.i have never droped the phone or sit on it too...
