Hello

I am from Czech Republic and I bought iphone 4 and does not signal to me. I read, that i must do unlock baseband (i have baseband 4.12.01), but i don't know what is it and how can i do it. I tried to put it into service, but they tell me, it's can't be possible. Ever wrote that i must contact AT&T. Is there any chance  to make from my overgrown ipod again iphone? Thank you very much.

Sounds like your device is carrier locked.  If that is the case, only the carrier that it is locked to can unlock it.  Contact the carrier and see if you meet their requirements for unlocking the device.

 

If the device has ever been hacked/jailbroken or otherwise unofficially unlocked, it may not be possible to officially unlock the device.

Ok but how can i find  what kind of carrier is that? I bought only phone, headphones and charger.
