IPHONE 3G PROBLEM PLEASE HELP

Hello to everybody!!
I Live in croatia and i have i iphone 3g

My problem is when i turn off 3g i dont can get a service, when i turn on 3g then i got service but i have droped call, bad reception !!!! In croatia there is no service for iphone can sombody please help me.
P.s. reset network settings, restore to older fw, all done but nothing helped my iphone is 3g 16gb, bootloader 5.08, baseband 05.11.08 i bay my iphone in Swiss and with hes original sim card he act same as described

i wanted to restore my iphone because, i just unpluged my iphone while the sync was in progress, and it stopped showing the pictures i was taking on my iphone. so i backed it up, restored it, and wanted to get the information i backed up back to my iphone, and it asked me for a backup password. i never put a password on the backup. what should i do to get this backup password?
please help.
