iphone 3g defects etc

Yep - definitely lots of issues with dust and cracks in Hong Kong. I went through 6 White 16GB - (orginal purchase, I opened 3 boxes as there were dust particles under the the first 2 boxes) - the one that choose showed some streaks on the screen 2 days later. On replacing it, I went through another 3 units, all had one or two particles of dust under the screen. The one I eventually had to take has one dust particle under the screen and I think it is beginning to show a crack on the plastic side.
Having said that, I still think the phone is awesome for the functionality it provides. Just Apple needs to brush up on Quality control and soon.

Just speaking from personal experience, our phones and our friends iPhones are not having any of these problems.
