iPhon 4 not restored iPhone 4

My cell phone iphone 4 is dropped in the toilet but then recovered and dried with hair dryer and lots rice resumed work this way:

Just insert the usb cable is in the socket And the PC, and then the apple is the symbol of USB with the arrow and the iTunes display.

I open iTunes I insert the phone into the USB port of your PC and displayed the message "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore your iPhone with iTunes before you use it", I click the button to reset and after that iTunes has downloaded the new firmware (5.1.1) begins recovery and ultimately the message: "Unable to restore iPhone (iPhone). has encountered an unknown error (1611)".

I tried with other PC but I always get the same error.

It will be bad hardware or a firmware problem?

Someone please help me solve this problem?
