Intuit QuickBooks now works on iPhone, BlackBerry

Intuit Inc. said Monday its QuickBooks Web-based application is now compatible with both Apple Inc.'s iPhone and Research in Motions Ltd.'s BlackBerry.

Mountain View-based Intuit (NASDAQ:INTU) said the new applications are available on IntuitLabs.com, an early concept release site.

Users can check bank and credit card balances, track money owed, find vendors and customer contact information and keep running balance sheet and profit and loss reports.

The company said that through IntuitLabs.com it encourages cutomers to try early concept releases and contribute to the innovation process by providing feedback.
