Settings > General > reset > Reset  Network Settings

I've tried that numerous times as well. Not sure where to llok now. Think I'm going to head back to retailer and get a replacement. Thanks for the reply.

Have you tried contacting the carrier to ensure they are not having issues and that your account is provisioned correctly?

Yes I have and they could not help me any further. When I put WiFi on, I can access the internet and all seems well.

Why could they not help you any further?  Did they simply refuse?

The device is working, you have Internet connection when on Wi-Fi.

Have you tried a different SIM? Reseating the SIM?

It is obvious the issue is with the cellular data connection, if the carrier refuses to work with you on resolving the problem, I would personally refuse to pay the bill.
