i know watching a movie and sufring the web with wifi on the iphoen 4 you should get about 10 hours . and this is what is normal but i was wondering if watching you tube on wifi how long should the battery last since your watching video and streaming data from the wifi?
im guessing its less then ten hours but does anyone know>?

Depends on what you do, a typical video when watching on iphone in the ipod app would last you 7 hours of video watching. Wifi and watching youtube would eat more because its using your wi-fi to load the video and watching at the same time while it loads.

yea u kinda just repeated what i said in my post .
and what iphone are you using where u get 7 hours of video playback ?
the iphoen 4 has 10 hours of video in a full charge.
what i was asking in my OP was how long does the phone last while doing that, since im aware that its less time than normal video.hence the original post.

you will get somewhere around 4-5 hours based on my experience... no guarantees, but that has been pretty consistent for me...

Oops that was my misunderstanding, yes it is 10 hours, thx for the correction and I am using the iphone 4.
the iphoen 4 has 10 hours of video in a full charge.
yea most likely but it all depends on what you have on, if you have 3G on, it will still use some battery as its still connected to your closest 3G tower. so I dont believe that the iphone 4 will go exactly 10 hours of full movie play back with 3G on, It is possible if its in airplane mode and Im sure you can go over a bit over 10 hours depending on your settings.

that I wouldnt be able to answer, cuz I dont watch youtube on my iphone that often. That is what my laptop is for.

i love watching you tube videos in bed in the morning on my phone.
and btw im pretty sure even with 3g on you will still get a solid ten hours of video or wifi web but as soon as you start doing other things like calls and txts and emails it will cut into that. but if your just surfing wifi web and not running other apps or calls or txts youll get the full ten,
just incase u werre pondering,

Hello
My computer was stolen some months ago and I have only just replaced it. This means I had been nervous about losing or breaking my iPhone because it hadnt been backed up in so long.
I tried backing up my iPhone tonight on my new computer, and also updating it with the new software, which it did at the same time, but in the process I have lost most of my photos (I had 1100, but only 154 random photos are remaining).
Does anyone know how to get these photos back? I know its a long shot...
Thanks
Kate

I purchased Assassins Creed Discovery on 6-24-10 and have never been able to play it. I have both the latest version of iTunes and iPhone OS 4. Every time I get to the end of the tutorial it crashes. Ive closed out the app in backgrounding and restarted, no change. Ive restarted my phone, no change. Ive deleted it from the phone and redownloaded, no change. Ive deleted it from iTunes, no change.
I contacted Ubisoft and was told they are aware of this and that was it. I tried their solutions, no change.
At this point I want a refund and tried going though the report a problem link from my purchase history and Apple says they dont support issues with the apps and to contact the developer.
I want my $6 back and all Im getting is a runaround.

Also, if Apple and Ubisoft would check the reviews in iTunes, people have been complaining about this for months!

If you contacted the developer, then theres nothing else you can do. Perhaps Ubisoft would, but did you ever bother to read your terms and conditions? By purchasing from the iTunes store, you are not entitled to a refund.
And before you start complaining about it, learn how to read terms and conditions first, instead of just hitting the Agree button.

Hi,
I recently purchased my iPhone 4 last weekend, upgrading from my 3GS. I had no problems with the multi-tasking on my 3GS it worked fine but when I am closing down apps on my iPhone 4 it is freezing the phone and is sometimes even totally restarting the device. I have tried totally restoring the phone from backup but I am still getting the same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

This guide will teach you how to unlock your iPhone 3G/3GS running 3.0 firmware using ultrasn0w.

  • Step 1
I strongly recommend you backup your iPhone via iTunes BEFORE you begin this guide.

  • Step 2

Upgraded your iphone 3G/3GS to 3.0 firmware via iTunes, jailbreak the iphone using redsn0w, install cydia or icy.

  • Step 3

After your iPhone is jailbroken and installled either cydia or icy, run cydia or icy, add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to cydia or icy. Search for “ultrasn0w” and install it. Reboot your iPhone. Your iPhone is unlocked and you are done.
