As Apple promised in early October, the company has posted an updated Software Developer Kit (iPhone SDK) Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which allows iPhone application developers to more openly discuss their development plans. 2008-11-21 03:30:06 Dont try to see your street where you live because it works only with NYC and maybe other big city on Google map.
The update 2.2 is not bad but still need work. Apple go back and add copy and past plus video recorder and maybe something that Steve Jobs doesnt see on the iphone.

I was just trying to update to 2.2 firmware but update failed. iTunes gave some error but I just clicked okay without reading and now my iPhone is stuck on connect to iTunes screen. Have tried to reboot it but no use. iTunes cant detect the iPhone anymore.
Any ideas how can I fix it?

2008-11-21 03:00:06 When you said you rebooted, did you do a simple shutoff-restart or a HARD reset? I just got 2.2 and it worked perfectly for me. Im about to test out the street-view thing.

2008-11-21 03:00:06 This happend to me updating to 2.1 and is why i will not update to 2.2 im scared it will happen again. I took mine to the apple store and they said this occured because i pluged my iphone into a friends computer before i put it on mine. They said if i plugged it back into my friends computer it would be fine and then i would just have to deauthorize it from his computer and then connect it to mine and it would be fine. I didnt want to take a chance so they just did a full restore in the store and i had to start from scratch. Same thing happend to another guy when i was in there. They said this is for security reasons so if your phone gets stolen then once the person tries to put it in their computer then they cant use it.

2008-11-21 03:00:06 wish i could say i ever plugged my iphone into anyone elses computer but i never have. i can honestly say my iphone has never interfaced with anything other than my own computer... =/
as long as my contacts were backed up into my computer and i can retrieve them, ill be happy. for now, i have no idea what will happen when i stomp into the apple store tomorrow...

2008-11-21 02:00:08 I have a basic AOL account, fetching data. I had to enter the advanced settings for my aol account on the Iphone, and configure deleted emails. Works fine now.

2008-11-21 02:00:08 Same issue, I tried deleting messages from my AOL account and it said they could not be moved to the mailbox trash. I just reset my phone and it didnt help. Ive never got this message before.
