iMessages not sending iPhone

That's how imessage works, if it is unavailable it will send it as a text.

I know that, but it just stopped randomly working last night. It doesn't automatically send as text either, it sits as the blue bubble without saying 'delivered' and then when I realize it hasn't sent I have to send it as a text. Thanks for the troubleshooting link, I'm trying that now.

No problem.  I've had problems sending pics in imessage also, I think I've sent it then I see the red exclamation mark, I usually have to resend it again for it to go thru.

That happed to me today also but then for other pics it worked. My internet is fine so I am just confused as to how my imessages became so shotty last night!

sometimes it helped when i turned my iphone off and back on and other times it helped to turn imessage off and back on.
