imessage down in uk iPhone

Hi

It seems quite a few people are randomly losing iMessage and then it says waiting for activation or something similar. We have three iPhones on T-mobile, Orange and O2 and the T-mobile one has lost iMessage for now. iMessage on my Mac won't let me log in either. Must be a problem at Apple.

I am on 02, and frankly after the 3g went down last week, this is yet again another annoyance more than anything, I can still text and thankfully I have whatsapp so I can still get in contact with people via a wifi connection but its more the fact that i shouldnt have to find other solutions.

These are suppose to be smartphones.

Thank you for your help though, all i can say is i hope that the problem is solved sooner rather than later for us all!

p.s,

from the other articles i have read on the support, many people think that it is linked with the ios 5.1.1 but as i am a technaphob i have no idea.

I'm no expert but I've been using Macs and iPhone for years. iOS 5.1.1 has been out for too long for it to be a problem related to that. I think it's an Apple iCloud server problem.
