I update 2 iphone4 using the same ID. The first to ios 5.1.1 and the other to ios 5.0.1 (I don't know why?). The setting in the 2 is now asking for update to 5.1.1, but when I do that it reports a failure, via itunes or wifi. Since in the second the 3G operation stopped worked I am trying to restore but the restore is closed. What to do to update and the 3G bring back to work?

The Apple ID tied to the device is irrelevant when updating iOS.

 

What happens, specificially, when trying to update the second device?  No one can help if no details are provided.
