Even after trying to suck anything in the way out and removing gunk from speaker screen.
Don't want to spend $160 on a new earpiece, so please throw me any suggestions! ![]()
Yes I've done the following:
Reset/Restore
Set volume ALL the way up
Tried multiple phone numbers and automated services
Sucked on the earpiece.
Removed gunk out of the way of earpiece.
Phoned customer support, unfortunately the phone is no longer under warranty.
Any help is greatly appreciated, as I broke the bank getting the phone, can't easily afford a repair.
Depeding on how long you have had the phone, you may be entitled to book it in at your local apple store with a guru and they may be able to assist you. My partner had this happened after downloading a software update, he booked it into the store and as it was within 12 months the phone was exchanged.

Is this strictly for apple stores? Where I live, the closest apple store is a ferry & a day away. The closest thing to an Apple Store I have locally is a Boutique Mac..
