I dropped my iPhone 4s ito swimming pool

for like 4 seconds, turned it off put it in a zipblog full of rice for 3 days and it won't turn on. What should i do next???

My mom had previously dropped a cup of coffee on my macbook pro on the whole keybord and i but it into a bag of rice for a few days and it works now perfectly!! But iam so upset!! my iphone was a month old!!! Help!!!!

It's probably toast. Worst case, take it to the Apple store for an out of warranty replacement ($199 US). (Warranty doesn't cover water damage.)

but if it dosent cover water damage, why would i take it to the apple store? if i pay 200 dlls will they fix it or give me a new one? i dont understand how it works....

They will sell you an out of warranty replacement for $199 (most likely refurbished but it will look and operate like new). Since it has water damage it will be considered out of warranty.
