You downloaded iTunes to your computer. What is not showing on your desktop, a shortcut? Go to programs and find iTunes and start it. However, it sounds like you have a lot more going here than just downoading iTunes.

Only the mobile carrier that the iphone is "locked" to can unlock your iPhone, if that is what you are referring to?
