The video is 43 minutes long and 7.xx GB. How can i transfer this to my macbook pro? I've tried using diskaid but diskaid doesn't notice the file on my phone, yet I can still play the video on my iphone.
itunes doesn't see the file, neither does quicktime, nor imovie and/or iphoto.
Any other suggestions?
Does the phone not mount as a drive when you connect it to your macbook? It does in Windows. It comes up as a removeable drive. When I access the drive there is a folder called "DCIM" and in this folder contains all photos and videos. I can then copy them directly to my computer.
No, it doesn't normally mount up as a drive. Even if I use a program that allows me to mount it up as a drive, the file doesn't show up because it's such a huge file.
I'm currently uploading the file after using an ftp program to my website's server, but it's taken almost 6 hours for half the file. It's pretty rediculous and I want to be able to move files quickly.
Have you tried iExplorer?

It's supposed to allow you to view the memory of the iphone as a drive.
