I cannot restore my Iphone 4S 5.0.1

I am in desperate need of help.

This is my situation:

 

I recently bought an iphone 4s from Canada unlocked and brough it over to Japan and it is currently on the softbank mobile provider network.

 

I have been playing around on my iphone 4s and decided I wanted to start fresh so I tried to restore my iphone 4s through itunes. When I clicked on the restore button, the error 1600 would show up and I would be unable to continue.

 

So I decided to try and put my phone into recovery mode (picture with the USB asking me to plug into iTunes) and tried to restore through that...That brought me error 21.

 

Next I decided to try DFU mode and restore, that brought me back to error 1600.

 

So Currently my phone is completely unusable and stuck between these two errors.

 

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Here are Apple Steps to follow: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694#error21

 

Search computer for Hosts file, open Hosts file with word processor. Make sure Hosts file has no lines with gs.apple.com. Restore the Firmware in standard Recovery Mode, not DFU Mode.
