how too repair connector on iphone 4

Hi have had recent issues with my iphone4.

Stopped charging from the connector and so can't charge my battery.  Which unfortunately means I have a very expensive paperweight.  It also won't connect too the computer too sync up with itunes.  I am nervous about taking it too the apple store as there are about 60 photos which were taken over the weekend that mean a lot too me and really want too keep them...if id of known that my phone wasn't able too charge I would of iclouded it all and tossed it and gone got a new 1....as it stands I need the data of the phone....

My questions are

1. anyone know of a quick fix too give the apple battery some life too enable the phone too turn on and icloud too complete a backup.

2. do 3rd party batterys have enough charge in them too replace the battery thats in mine too complete an icloud backup

3. anyone know of a way too make the connector work so that I can sync up and use my phone as normal....
