sir i have a problem on iphone after i restore, it gives a message after restoring that only compatible sim card from a supported carrier may be used to activate iphone. please insert the sim card that came with yours iphone or visit support carrier's store to receive a replacement sim card. so what should i do to activate my iphone n my iphone imei: 012422002630889 and iccid: 899770210202200364 please reply me n now i m at seychelles

Your phone was hacked to unlock it so you could use the sim card you're trying to now activate your phone with. Updating software or restoring a hacked iPhone will re-lock it to the carrier it was originally locked to. That's what has happened to you. Your solution is to get a sim card from that carrier, if you want to activate your phone, then see if that carrier offers official unlocking & whether you qualify for such. If you don't know what carrier your phone is locked to, you can try calling AppleCare...they might be able to tell you.

 

Good luck, and next time purchase an officially unlocked iPhone & you won't have these issues.
