All the texts from my iPhone are suddenly showing up as ___@me.com rather than my contact name in everyone else's phone. I believe this started when I activated some of the iCloud features. And may also be related to the iOS 5.1 update. Some of my friends are having the same issue. Does anyone know how to stop my texts from showing up this way without deleting my iCloud account?
Thanks.
Settings>Messages>Receive At>Caller ID, select your phone number rather than your email address. If you don't see your phone number listed in Receive At (and don't see Calller ID) you probably haven't been activated for iMessage and will see "waiting for activation" under iMessage. If so, try turning iMessage off, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on.
