Hi, I've recently needed to get back to the beginning of a conversation (to settle an argument) but after pressing the load earlier message tab numerous times the beginning of the conversation isn't there?
On a hunch I deleted 2 messages from the conversation and it added 2 messages to the beginning of the conversation so the messages are obviously still stored in the memory of the phone.
I've got 2 questions, first, why won't it let me go right back and second is there a way to bring back earlier messages?
I'm using an iPhone 4S
Thanks
I have the same problem!!!! I see you posted this in April. Were you able to come up with a solution? I turned my phone off and back on andI was able to bring the very beginning of my conversation. Then I went to add a specific ring tone to my contact... went back to load the begining of the conversation again to ck, and it was gone again. Is very frustrating and so far it only seems to do it with one of my contacts...
Try the computer apps PhoneView (Mac) or TouchCopy (Mac & PC):

http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/index.php
Both will allow you to transfer your texts to your computer and read them all.
