Iphone 4 home button takes up to 10 attempts to respond. Updating to iOS 5 has made no difference.

Same here. Mine was working fine untill I updated to IOS 5 .

Ditto - home button on iPhone4 inoperative after upgrade. Works fine on iPad2 though. Go figure

My home button is working better now after I power down the phone and let it set for a few minutes.
