please i wanna know the method to unlock my iphone 4, i saw in the forus the method to call at&t support services , but they say me to requiered number, name and social security to tehe last owner of the iphone , so i fro,m ecuacuador , and i buy the iphone 4 to amazon.com , and a ask to the seller about that information , and his told me what that information is not possible to give me , so i dont not what cant i do .. please help me

Only the carrier to whom the device is locked can officially unlock it.

If they refuse or you cannot provide the information they require to unlock it, then nothing can be done.

See if he will get the phone unlocked for you. He would just do the transaction, maybe charge you a fee. That's what I would do at least.
