Hi I bought phone off craigs list and it was supposed to be unlocked. From model number I its canadian phone MC604C. I sent phone over seas and it wasn't unlocked . so no apple store . Help iPhone 4

Hello everyone,

 

I bought a phone off craigs list and it was supposed to be unlocked.  From the model number I know its a canadian.

 

iphone 4 MC604C

 

I sent the phone over seas and it wasn't unlocked.... so there is no apple store there.

 

I initally tried to recontact the seller but they had closed down the email address they used so obviously they knew it wasn't unlocked.

 

If I can figure out the carrier I can at least activate it so they can use it as a iPod and make VOIP calls with talkatone, Viber, Dell voice, google voice etc

 

Help!

You could ask Apple care in your country they may advise you

You will need serial # and maybe the IMEI # of the iPhone

You are not the first and certainly not the last to be scammed
