i am having problems unlocking my iphone so that i could use a sim from a diferant country.

i followed some information the I got saying that i needed to go onto Itune and restore my iphone and that would unlock it but is did not work.

Please help

Only the carrier to whom the device is unlocked. Have you contacted them and followed their procedure for getting the device unlocked?

If so, when you restore the device as new, you should get the "Congratulations" message indicating the device is unlocked.
