Group messaging is not working on a brand new iOS 5.1.1 iPhone 4S for AT&T

 

The following options are on under settings > messages :

 

iMessage

Send as mms

Group messaging

Mms messaging

 

 

Additionally, a new sim card is being used. Friends can receive and send group messages within the chat. I can also send messages in the chat and they will see the message but I can't see anything they send.

 

I am switching from a 3GS that had sim card issues so I have a new sim card in this phone.

 

 

Any advice as to what is going on? Thanks

CORRECTION:

 

Mms is not working despite it being on. Friends ARE NOT receiving group messages and I can't send mms to anyone individually.
