I got an ipod touch and set it all up and got gamecenter working and gamecenter asked for the username but then i got and iphone long after and it now only asks for my apple id and my gamecenter for some reason wasn't linked with my apple id so when i signed in with my apple id i had to create a new one so i've tried for ages to get my old one back and at some point i did but then my iphone got really messed up so i put it in recovery and restored it and set it all back up but i coudn't get my old gamecenter back and i didn't want to start all over again because it had all my game data and in some games i had got really far

 

 

so is there anyone who can please help as i don't want to have to start all over gain and is there anyone who has had this problem or knows how to fix it

A better way to word it is

 

After I upgraded to iOS5 my iphone made me put in a new game center nickname when I signed in the first time.  But my games are associated with a different game center nickname.  No matter what I do, I cannot sign in with my nickname, only my apple id which has a different game center id associated with it.  Anyone else have this problem?

 

My friends can still see my citys and stuff in games like dragonvale but i can't get to it.
