Finger Sketch sample code missing iPhone 3G

Hi,
I am rookie. I dont know if its a best place to ask for iPhone developers concerns? If not, please redirect me to a proper location.
My question is where can i find a Finger Sketch sample code mentioned in Getting started with graphics and animation at

The document says that i can find it in xcode. Its not true. It looks like its been deleted since some older versions of XCode. The readme.txt file located in the iPhone samples of xcode says that all the samples are located on the developers websites. I looked at it. Theres no sign of Finger sketch sample code ;/
