Deleted entire SMS list on iPhone 3GS after syncronizing in iTunes.

Here's a scenario. The iPhone 3GS was syncronized in iTunes. I was using iCal too, but I'm not sure if there's any automatic or manual syncronizing there. Just right after unplugging the iPhone from iTunes after the syncronizing was finished, the entire SMS list was deleted on the phone. I'm not sure if the backup procedure is usually running at the same time together with the syncronizing. But anyway is it possible to retrieve back the SMS list?

I have tried out several backup and recovery applications for iPhone and programs for Mac, but none of them work to backup the latest SMS list.

I also have an entire external backup of the whole Macbook, and with a swipe of luck it was backed up just two days before the deletion.

I admit that I have not done anything wrong. It just suddenly happened. This is like something is happenening without any reason.

The question is also, is it possible to retrive the SMS messages from the HD backup which was created two days ago before the deletion?

I also had a iPhone crash and all my SMS'es was gone. Double bad luck was that for some reason the last backup from iTunes saved was from 4 of april. I truly don't now why backups after that is not there??

But now I want to at least retrive all the SMS'es from april, and put them back in the phone. I can't do a full restore from april as you might understand.

Truly hpoing for some good advice here.

I don't have a solution on the issue. I'm looking for one or I did when this case was relevant back in April. I still don't know if I can retrive back every single SMS from the HD backup...?

I was a bitt lucky as I made a CCC backup to my external harddisk the 24 of july before I upgraded to Mountain Lion. When I started from the backup disk I managed to make afull restore from then. I missalomst a month of SMS, but have the old back.
