yes, a reset will erase everything on your iPhone. If you only want to delete all contacts from your iPhone you'll probably have to use a third party app. There are many free apps in the iTunes store (DeleteContacts, Contact Cleaner, Contacts Duster, ...)

An iPhone reset does not.

 

A restore does.

Oups. Sorry, Allan is right - a reset doesn't erase data, but the restore does. How i delete all contacts from my iPhone 4

if you use outlook express I have a way I just tried it 1- conect your Iphone to your computer

2-  run I tunes

3- under info     unchek         sync contactes with outlook
