Ever since I've had to insert my PUK code in my Iphone 4 to unlock the sim (yes, i typed the pin wrong 3 times..), i can't receive imessages anymore. also when i open what's app, it gives the message that i have to connect to itunes to use push notifications.

 

I came accross some similar stories, but all from people who have jailbroken their phones. Mine is not jailbroken, it just locked down because of the wrong sim.

 

How can I resolve this issue?

Load iTunes.

 

Backup your phone.

 

Make sure it is backed up !!

 

Run restore.

 

This will get rid of the error!

 

PS: do the backup. Don't skip it.
