Cant connect iPhone 3G

Reply Topic My iPhone 3G was disabled because a friend entered the passcode wrong too many times. It says connect to iTunes and I have tried but iTunes says :
iTunes cannot connect your iPhone iPhone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on your iPhone before it can connect to iTunes.
But, the problem is, I cant because its locked.
Would the fact I have Windows Vista have anything to do with it?
Help!

2010-01-05 21:19:02 Connect it to the main computer you sync it with. It shouldnt ask you for a pass code.
