Cannot access appstoreiTunes iPhone 4

Hey everybody. I'm having trouble accessing both the appstore and iTunes on my iPhone 4. Even with wifi on, whenever I select an app I wish to download on the top charts, all it results in is a loading screen which does not load. Similarly, I also cannot access Featured or other pages in the appstore (I can still update, which I already have for my apps). All there is is a loading screen.

 

What are the possible problems to this and how can I solve it? Helpful advice would be appreciated.

I'm assuming you have good wi-fi and cellular data connectivity....have you tried a restart/reset?  Good chance that will fix it...I'd also shut off all of the running apps with the double-tap-on-the-home-button method.  Might be a memory issue.

Also having this same issue with the AppStore on the iPad (3rd gen) WiFi or cellular nor restarting makes any difference. Not having any connectivity issues with other apps.

 

The login appears to be timing out, the AppStore login will come back up after several minutes.
