Download or create a ringtone that is just silence. Set it as your default text tone.

Thanks. I set the text tone to none for now while I sleep. Like that I can at least hear the phone ringing but not be woken up by a text. But I wish there was a way to have a text still vibrate while having the phone set to ring.

I explained how to make that happen. It's not the same as setting the text tone to "none". You need to have it set to an actual alert sound, which would be silence. If you set it to "none", it won't ring or vibrate.
