can t upload picture to facebook iPhone

I am now unable to upload a picture to my facebook account by taking the picture then choosing to send it to facebook via the text function on my iphone.  This happened suddenly along with my wife's iphone also.  I have deleted the facebook app and reinstalled it to no avail.  I can send a verbal text with no problem however with a picture attached it never shows up at facebook.  Has anyone had this same situation?  If so, has anyone found a resolve for it?
