A friend of mine let someone other then me jailbreak and unlock her iPhone 3gs so she could use it on T-Mobile. Shortly after that, ATT started unlocking all iPhones in good standings, naturally. Well, he put her on iOS 5.1 with the 6.15.00 bb, mostly because of the lack of knowledge about unlocking. WELL, here we are, ATT unlocked her iPhone. She plugs it into iTunes and it runs the update, does the carrier unlock pop up, and now it doesn't even recognize any sim card she puts in it. Is this a baseband issue? or one of those times where you just repeat everything until finally it works. I know iPhones are known for not taking well to change. Thanks in advance to any replies to this post. This whole factory unlock release will spawn a whole new breed of problems, I can feel it coming. Lets get some GOOD definite information that will help!

Jailbreaking the phone has voided any remaining warranty with Apple, and forfeited your right to any assistance from them, including from this forum.

You'll need to search elsewhere on the internet for answers to your problem.
