My camera on my 4s will not work.

It opens when I select the camera app, but the "lens" never seems to open and just stays black. The camera button is also greyed out. I have deleted all pictures off my phone and have 3.6 gb of free space. How do I resolve this issue?

Close All Open Apps... Perform a Reset... Try again...

Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...
