Has anyone else had this problem. AT&T is my carrier. The AT&T help desk suggested resetting my phone. Very upsetting as I have quite a bit of information etc. on the phone.
The "echo" was noticable from the time I purchased the phone, however, I needed to determine if it was apparant onl in certain locations or when wpeaking to other I phones.
It seems to be in effect everywhere and with any phone.
It's frankly a network issue. The device simply cannot cause the issue unless there is a serious hardware issue like a faulty mic.
Regardless, basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). The only one of those that will affect data on the device is restoring as new. So the question is, why so hesitant to do basic troubleshooting to prove to the carrier it is not a device issue, or at the very least prove it to yourself?
