I have searched and searched the forums, and I only find people having the silence switch in the wrong position... That isn't our problem.. Her phone rings just fine whenever someone else calls her... but every time I call... all she gets is the vibration...???

Have her check your contact entry: Edit>Ringtone...what's listed?

The contact entry for me..(my phone number..) is set to "Default Ringtone.."

Sorry... but to clairify for me... do you mean I should 'tap' the ringtone option on the contact listing..?? If so, I've done that and it does play the default ringtone.

Set it to a different Ringtone...call now...does it play properly? If so, go back & change it. If not, reset the phone:

 

Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
