So I broke my iphone about a month and a half ago, it wouldn't work at all, no display and a slightly cracked screen. What happens is that it can be charged and the backlight will show, but no display will show. It can be accessed via voice commands as if I was blind. I now have a new phone, but I am still wondering if I can take this to apple or somewhere to fix for cheap?

I don't think apple will fix it, just replace it with a refurbish one for a price.

 

You can try and find a 3rd party that fixes iphone in your area.

You can bring the phone into an Apple store and should be eligible for an Out of Warranty replacement for $149 US$.
