Scenario... If I am using my iPhone as an iPod in my vehicle (with a cable connected to the blade connection), it seems to shut off the Bluetooth connectivity to the car audio system. Is this normal? Shouldnt I be able to play it as an iPod and still receive incoming calls?
Thanks in advance for any help!!

If you are referring to the charging end of the phone where you connect your cable, you are not going to get any sound. The only way to transmit sound from an iphone is from the Headphone jack. Compare to an ipod, it gives you sound from the headphone jack as well as a line out from the cable end. iPhone do not have a line out through the charging/cable end.(If thats what youre referring to).
