Battery Terminal readings info iPhone 3G

I washed my iPhone by accident is the cloths washer. Unlike others I have had no luck getting it working. I took it apart 100% and dried it out very well right after. I can not get it to work at all and pretty much figured its toast. But I decided to take battery voltage readings. On the terminals that contact the mobo I get just .02 volts. At the battery itself I get 3.88.
So my question are if the mobo contacts two of the four mobo terminals to make full power? Would see odd. So if anyone has any battery reading at the mobo terminals, that would be great. Otherwise I am looking at thinking the battery circuit board it fried. So then a new battery may be all I need.
So any voltage info on the battery to mobo contacts would be VERY grateful!
