Battery life problems iPhone 4S

Sorry another question!

I'm wondering if anyone is still having issues with the iPhone 4s battery life? The updates did little in improving mine..

So far, in less than 8 months, I've gone through 3 Apple charger products, and my iPhone fails to recognise it's even on charge with them? Yet they work with other iPhones.. other than mine?

I'm also finding that the battery life is completely useless. When I first had it, it lasted more than a day. Now? It's rare It even lasts a few hours.. I'm having to use another version of an iPhone charger, simply because Apple chargers consistently fail with it. The phone is indicating the last full charge was 12 hours and 29 minutes ago, yet I charged it not even 2 hours ago, have barely used it other than to text, and it's already on 78%!?

I've tried everything. Turning the brightness down, closing any open applications immediately after use, etc. If I even play a few songs, it jumps from 100% to 80% in less than 10 minutes..

Anyone have any battery life issues still? I'm going to be taking it back for replacement under the warranty, but just curious?
