Yes, I am another very unhappy customer of the 3.0 upgrade. Battery life is horrible (and yes I have tried all the tricks listed here and every where else). My phone ran great on v2.2.1, wish I would have never upgraded. I would gladly give up the new search page (useless) and the copy & paste to have my smooth running 2.2.1 back.
Is there any way to roll back? please help.

Try deleting your email and adding it back. It seems like email is often the culprit if battery life suddenly gets worse.

Thanks but I tried that and every other trick people have posted. There is obviously a problem with the 3.0 firmware and I just want to go back to what works.
