How do you remove apps completely? I removed apps from my iPhone 4, but every time I connect my iPhone to my computer (MacBook), I get update requests from deleted apps. I want to get rid of this junk completely.

I found the answer, thanks to a mrwhippy on another page. Apparently you have to delete it twice to make sure it's gone for good. Go to iTunes on the computer, then Library, Apps, and then find the specific app you want to eliminate, and use the pull-down menu to delete it. It's under "Edit," I believe.
