Accessory compatibility error but I am not running an accessories iPhone 4

I have a new iPhone 4 32GB and I am NOT running any accessories. Nothing at all, I just took the phone out of the box and turned it on. I haven't even really used the phone yet! However, I constantly get this error:"This accessory is not optimized for this iPhone.""You may experience noise caused by cellular interference and a decrease in cellular signal strength."

Update: I have tried a hard reste and a iTunes Restore and backup, but it has not fixed this issue.I'm starting to think they shipped this phone out too soon, or, at the very least, OS4 was released too soon...

Update 2: RESOLVED!I thought I would give you all an update. I have found a resolution to this issue.When I bougth the phone I had a front and back screen potector installed on the phone "just because." Apparently, a small amount of residue from the application of the glue snuck into the charging port. After the glue hardened it tricked the phone into think an accessory was being plugged inwhat there was not one.I simply cleaned the entire charging port with a dry towel and everything is back to normal.If youa re experiencing this issue clean your charging port and you should be good to go.
