I will be staying at a hotel that uses ibahn for their wireless access. When you connect you must go to a secure logon page and accept their terms of service. I did this on my MacBook and when I open Safari it went to one of my bookmarked pages then got redirected to their page to accept the terms of service.
I tired the same procedure on my iPhone 3G and it just tried to load the page with no success. I even went and open a new page in Safari and refreshed the page and nothing happened it did not even try to load a page.
Is there a setting or something that needs to be done to get to their page to accept their terms of service? All of my phone setting for Safari are set to the default settings with no VPN connections or anything.
This access point goes not require you to put in a passcode or anything you just need to accept their terms of service. I can connect just fine and pickup an ip address with subnet and a DNS entry. It is just strange the phone does not redirect me to their page.
Any ideas or experiences with issues like this? Thank you in advance for any posts and ideas.
