3.0 deleted my music iPhone 3G

installed 3.0 just fine. but now my music is gone and has been replaced with other, have tried everything to get my music back. HELP!

The iPhone just sees what your iTunes is set to sync with. Since you updated to 3.0, you have a back up if it comes to that.
Plug in your iPhone to your computer that youve been syncing to, check your iTunes music tab for your iPhone and make sure youre syncing what you intend.

Ive tried, but it says I dont have enough memory available because it is being used by other, which used to be my music

Sounds like you need to make some room on your device... but help me help you by explaining what other is.
Are you thinking your music is somehow corrupted now that youve updated to the os 3.0?

I havent added anything since I updated. On the sync page at the bottom where it shows color codes for types of data....blue audio...green apps..etc. It shows 11gig in orange that says other. That data block used to be my music

See what you have check marked as music that will be synced. Try unchecking it/them, then syncing and see if that frees up that block. If it does, recheck what youd like to sync and see what it does.
Sounds like a strange glitch.
