no service in Iphone 4s India after restore.

hi,

I bought an factory unlocked iphone 4s from Canda. It worked fine there with Rogers sim.

After coming to my country (India) - it just searched for carries and NO SERVICE.

I used new micro sim from Airtel, destroyed my vodafone and docomo normal sims to get them micro.

software is 5.0.1 (9A406)

and cellphone make is 1st week in Jan 2012 in China.

Finally got to see an article from apple and did restore. - NO USE>.

It's so frustrating now, after spending huge money, things ending up like this.

I don't know what is the definition of word "UNLOCKED PHONE" apple has.

Apple support has raised their hands saying, restore is the only option they have.

Can anyone help meon this situation???

Does anyone has some contact email for technical team with apple? Who is VP/Director for Iphone 4s (technical Wing)

i feel like writting to Tim Cook & make him aware of such realities and sufferings (i am loosing my business, since my cell is off), which people like me are facing after paying huge $$$$.

Realy SAD & horrible experience !!
