no reset usage time after full charge. iPhone 3G

Hi, Ive got a new iPhone 3G and i see after some full charging that the usage time and stanby time dont reset after full charging.
Whats about?
I Remove Ac adapter after see the symbol on the iPhone of full charge, may I have to give him more time?
